Week 2: Tuesday

Here's a picture of John Hyde. He lived a long time ago, but we could definitely learn a lot from his life.
What did you learn?
Did you write down some names in your journal? (please don't share those names on this site. Those names are meant for the world to see... maybe only just you and God).

Leave your comments!

Week 2: Monday

Two ways you can respond today (do both if you'd like)!

  1. What hit you today? What's God teaching you through your TAWG?
  2. Who is one of your Christian friends you are glad God has placed in your life? In the comment section, say who and why they have been so meaningful to you. Remember, say only positive things!

Week 1: Weekend

Welcome Back! On weekends, we are looking at some of the thought from people who have graduated from NMC. This weekend, you read thoughts from Austin (Class of '05) and Regan (class of '03).

I (Pastor Derry) saw both of these students see and use their talents and abilities to glorify God.

Regan is a great singer, guitar, violin, and piano player. While she was a part of the youth group, she played on the praise band. She also wrote several songs that were about Jesus and what it looks like to follow him.

Austin was a very good basketball player. He was on a team that made it all the way to semi-state in High School. More exciting than this was the fact that he and his friend Kory were the only two Christians on his team at the beginning of that year. By the end of the season, 5 other players had become Christians due to the influence that Austin and Kory had on the guys. Austin was also very funny and creative. He would often help with games and other activities in the youth group. He made it a point to sit up front and pay attention at all services he attended. His led by example to those around them.

Leave your comments and thoughts about how you've been challenged by Austin and Regan!

Week 1 = Friday

Here we go!

You're home and you've started the journey. Today was a great lesson in confession. This site is a spot where you can leave some of your thoughts for others to see, as well as read what others are learning.

Here's how this works.
  • Just below this post there's a spot that says "comments". Click on it.
  • In the box provided, write in your comment.
  • Be sure to sign your name!
  • Keep your comments clean and encouraging. Also, be careful not to use other people's names unless you mean for it to be for encouragement!
